Summary
Automann Heavy Duty Canada ULC is looking for an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk for our Brampton, Ontario facility. The Accounts Receivable Clerk ensures timely and accurate processing of customer payments, resolves discrepancies, and supports internal teams with billing inquiries. The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, and confident working within financial systems.
Responsibilities
Manage accounts receivable transactions and ensure timely collection of payments.
- Monitor customer accounts, track payment activity and maintain up‑to‑date account status.
- Perform collections activities, follow up on overdue accounts and document all communication.
- Reconcile customer accounts, investigate and resolve payment discrepancies promptly.
- Generate aging reports,analyze outstanding balances and identify collection priorities.
- Maintain transaction records, ensure accuracy and completeness of all A/R documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, work with sales and customer service to resolve billing questions.
Qualifications
Proven experience in accounts receivable roles.
- Post‑secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (completed or in progress preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency with accounting software and experience using ERP systems.
- Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with aging reports, collections procedures, and A/R adjustments.
- Exposure to month‑end closing is considered an asset.
