Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. As a Server, you will be an essential part of providing memorable dining experiences and maintaining high standards of hospitality.
Duties
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Clover
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are followed during food handling and serving
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen operations as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Follow all restaurant policies related to food safety, sanitation, and hospitality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Knowledge of food industry practices, including serving, food handling, and food safety regulations
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and upselling techniques
Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
