Requirements:
· Current Traffic Control Person (TCP) Certificate
· Current Temporary Workplace Signer (TWS) Certificate
· Valid Drivers License with clean abstract required.
· Good communicator with both written and verbal instructions.
· Enjoy being part of a team environment.
· Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, often working long days.
· Must be comfortable working near vehicle traffic and heavy equipment.
· Must be comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods of time.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Assist with placing signs, barricades and traffic cones in work areas.
· Be responsible for the safe passage of vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists through work areas.
· Communicate any incidents or hazards to the Site Supervisor.
· Ensure a safe work environment in accordance with policies and procedures.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
