Our client, a leading organization within the commercial real estate sector, is seeking a reliable and hands-on Building Operator to provide general operational support at a high-profile commercial office property in downtown Edmonton. Your Responsibilities
- You’ll monitor and respond to tenant service requests, completing basic repairs or coordinating service support as required.
- In this role, you’ll assist with daily building operations, including HVAC monitoring, lighting, plumbing, and general equipment checks.
- You’ll complete routine mechanical rounds and maintain accurate equipment and maintenance logs.
- You’ll support preventative maintenance activities aligned with site and operational requirements.
- You’ll collaborate closely with the on-site operations team and follow guidance from building management.
- You’ll contribute to a safe, efficient, and tenant-focused building environment.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience working in commercial office building operations
- Valid 4th or 5th Class Power Engineering certification
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with building systems
- Ability to manage tasks independently while contributing to a team environment
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and responsive to operational needs
