Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 tractor-trailer units safely and efficiently.
- Complete dedicated runs according to assigned schedules and routes.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure compliance with all provincial and federal transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and required documentation.
- Secure cargo properly and verify load information before departure.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, or delays promptly.
- Deliver freight safely and on time while maintaining a professional attitude.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Driver's License.
- Minimum 1 year of verified Class 1 driving experience.
- Clean driver's abstract and strong safety record.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and hours-of-service requirements.
- Ability to perform vehicle inspections and complete required paperwork.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
