Some of the services provided include naturopathic consultations, intravenous nutrient therapies, diet and lifestyle counseling, acupuncture, massage, regenerative injections, etc. Digestive, hormonal, pain, anti-aging, and numerous other wellness concerns are addressed by a number of practitioners in the clinic. The clinic provides both active and proactive care to patients.
Job description

To work alongside our naturopathic doctor in order to provide intravenous nutrient therapies to patients of the clinic. To coordinate the effective operation of the clinic IV lounge and ensure patient flow as well as playing a key role in supporting the naturopathic doctor in providing the very best service to clinic patients as well as potential patients.
Job Type
Currently in search of an LPN/RN that can commit to working 2 weekday afternoon/eveneing shifts. Potential of more shifts/hours as the clinic expands.
Compensation
$34 to 36/hr. Opportunity for growth.
Expectations for the Role
- Working alongside the Naturopathic doctor to operate the IV lounge on a busy Friday.
- Reporting to the Clinic Director, the LPN or RN is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and practitioners and executing on the clinic’s strategic objectives as it relates to clinic operations and patient care.
- Performing routine diagnostic testing including but not limited to urinalysis, blood pressure testing, simple blood glucose testing, etc
- Accurately charting any medical procedures or interventions performed in the patient chart
- Completing standardized forms and collecting payment for services
- Aware of the clinic’s core purpose and core values and performing to these core values on an ongoing basis
- Following standards of cleanliness and safety
- Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information in compliance with the Health Information Act guidelines
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Ability to perform job function with minimal supervision
Experience/Accreditations/Training:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current registration in good standing with your college.
- IV infusion training course is required, and IM training is an asset for the administration and preparation of medications via all routes (intramuscular and intravenous)
- Excellent intravenous skills required
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / First Aid Certification / Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
Assets
- Medical terminology experience (preferred)
- Experience using Electronic Medical Record Software
- Direct Billing experience
- Strong computer skills
