Summary
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Okanagan Mental Health Services Society in Kelowna. In this role, you will manage financial records, ensure accurate bookkeeping, and support our community-focused initiatives. Your contribution will help sustain our mission of enhancing mental health through community engagement.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software- QuickBooks, and Sage.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and perform account reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting.
- Support payroll processing and related activities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with team members to improve financial procedures.
- Assist with financial reviews as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks and Sage.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of payroll processing.
- Experience with account reconciliation and bank statement analysis.
- Prior experience working in non-profit organizations is a plus.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
