Hourly Rate: $90 - $110/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the SME for Ontario Power Generation’s Engineering Change Control (ECC) process, ensuring compliance, quality, and efficiency.
- Provide expert guidance on ECC process steps, submission requirements, documentation standards, and best practices.
- Support development of ECC submissions, technical justifications, change packages, and lifecycle management activities.
- Review engineering change documentation for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with governance requirements.
- Troubleshoot ECC process issues and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Interface with internal stakeholders, design authorities, project teams, and external engineering partners.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of relevant industry experience with direct, hands-on use of Ontario Power Generation’s Engineering Change Control process.
- Experience gained through:
- Direct employment or contracting with Ontario Power Generation, or
- External design agencies supporting OPG projects.
- Strong knowledge of:
- OPG engineering governance
- Design change workflows
- Documentation standards
- Cross-functional interfacing processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Engineers Ontario P.Eng. designation is considered an asset, but not required.
- Nuclear, utility, or regulated industry project experience is beneficial.
Pay: $90.00-$110.00 per hour
