Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Hardware Engineer to join our team in Burnaby, BC. This is an on-site position, and candidates must reside in the Vancouver area to be considered. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, development, testing, and debugging of electronic hardware from concept through production. Responsibilities include circuit design, prototype validation, and supporting product development throughout the design lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design electronic circuits around STM32 microcontrollers and other digital ICs, including power supplies, communication interfaces, and peripheral circuitry.
- Develop and test electronic hardware from concept through production.
- Perform hardware bring-up, testing, debugging, and validation.
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams during product development.
- Prepare and maintain hardware design documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of hardware development and electronic circuit design.
- Understanding of digital and analog electronics.
- Familiarity with computer hardware.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Assets
- Experience with Altium Designer.
- Experience in electronics hardware design.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
