Evergreen Tennis is a growing tennis program based in Markham, Ontario.
We believe tennis is more than learning technique. We create a positive, supportive, and enjoyable environment where children can build confidence, develop athletic skills, and discover a lifelong love for the game.
We’re looking for a coach who genuinely enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful impact through sport.
Responsibilities
- Coach children and junior tennis lessons (private and small groups)
- Create a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment
- Help students build confidence and develop proper tennis fundamentals
- Communicate professionally with parents when needed
- Arrive on time and maintain a positive attitude
- Support Evergreen’s teaching philosophy and coaching standards
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about working with children
- Friendly, patient, and dependable
- Able to communicate confidently in English
- Previous coaching experience is preferred
- Tennis Canada, PTR or other coaching certifications are an asset
- First Aid / CPR certification is an asset
- Bilingual (English/Mandarin) is considered an asset.
Compensation
CA$30–45 per hour
Compensation is based on experience, certifications, and coaching responsibilities.
