Gas Technician (G1) – Pool Heaters, Furnaces & Fireplaces

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Gas Technician to install, service, and repair underground gas lines and gas-fired appliances. This role focuses on pool heaters, furnaces, and outdoor fireplaces in residential and light commercial environments.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, self-motivated, and brings an entrepreneurial mindset—someone who takes ownership of their work and looks for solutions, not shortcuts. Experience is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and service underground natural gas and propane lines
- Diagnose and repair gas pool heaters, furnaces, and fireplaces
- Perform pressure testing, leak detection, and system start-ups
- Ensure all work complies with Ontario gas codes and manufacturer specifications
- Communicate clearly with customers and document work accurately
Requirements
- Valid Ontario G1 or G2 Gas Technician License
- 3+ years hands-on gas installation and service experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of CSA B149.1 gas code
- Valid Ontario driver’s license - Clean Record
Preferred (Strong Assets)
- Hydronic heating experience
- HVAC experience (313A or 313D)
- Pool industry or heater manufacturer experience
- Propane system experience
- Entrepreneurial, accountable, and customer-focused approach
