Excellent Town Education is a growing education centre located in Burnaby, BC. We provide educational programs and learning opportunities for children and families in the local community.
We are currently seeking a motivated and organized Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate is creative, proactive, and comfortable working with social media, community partners, and families. This role will focus on increasing brand awareness, supporting student enrollment, and developing relationships within the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate digital marketing activities across platforms including Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), Facebook, Instagram, and Google
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content to promote programs, classes, camps, and special events
- Assist with the preparation of marketing and promotional materials, including digital and print content
- Organize and coordinate trial classes, open houses, promotional events, and community outreach activities to support student enrollment
- Communicate and build relationships with local community organizations, businesses, schools, and potential partners
- Identify new partnership and collaboration opportunities to expand the school’s visibility and community reach
- Represent the organization at community events and partnership activities
- Conduct market research and monitor local education and marketing trends
- Provide recommendations to management on marketing strategies, promotional campaigns, and opportunities for growth
- Track the effectiveness of marketing activities and provide regular updates on campaign performance
- Support other marketing and administrative duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in marketing, social media management, community outreach, or a related role is an asset
- Experience with social media platforms is an assest
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple projects
- Comfortable communicating with parents, community organizations, and business partners
