Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team for alternate Saturdays. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. You will play a crucial role in promoting oral health, educating patients about proper hygiene practices, and assisting the dentist in various procedures. A strong background in customer service and familiarity with dental software such as AbelDent is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations on patients of all ages.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary tools and support.
- Maintain accurate patient records using AbelDent or similar dental software.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have regarding their oral health.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Currently registered with CDHO.
- Experience in a dental office setting is required.
- Experience with GBT preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate patients about their oral health needs.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7.0 – 8.0 per week
