Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Support Workers to provide exceptional in-home care for clients in need of assistance with daily living activities. Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Assist with assisted medical appointments
- Follow care plans developed by healthcare providers to ensure consistent and effective support
Skills
- Experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home health environments preferred
- Knowledge of patient care, dementia care, hospice care, and working with individuals with disabilities
- Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to senior and personal care
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams
