Responsibilities
Assist senior electricians with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across various sites.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support accurate wiring and system setup.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform wiring, conduit installation, and component assembly.
Support the setup of low voltage systems, including alarms, communication lines, and control panels.
Participate in site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
Help maintain organized work areas, tools, and materials to promote efficiency on the job site.
Follow all safety procedures diligently to create a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
Skills
Strong interest in electrical work with a desire to learn and develop new skills.
Previous experience or familiarity with industrial electrician tasks is a plus.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and measuring devices.
Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately.
Basic understanding of low voltage systems and their applications within construction projects.
Experience with power tools used in electrical installations is advantageous.
Construction experience or exposure to construction sites will help you succeed in this role.
