JOB: Water Treatment Specialist - Aquatic - Outdoor Pools

SALARY: $23.69/hour for 40 hours per week.
SCHEDULE: Rotating over 2 weeks.

The challenges that await you
Acts as a resource person regarding water quality in aquatic facilities. Ensures monitoring of analyses, proper functioning of filtration and disinfection systems, and compliance with safety standards.
- Resource person for water quality (sampling and analyses).
- Transmits water samples to a laboratory for physico-chemical and bacteriological analyses in an expert laboratory. Following the results, the specialist makes recommendations and implements measures and reports to their immediate supervisor;
- Holds an information clinic at the beginning of the session on filtration, disinfection, and bacteriology for pool staff;
- Assists pool staff and acts as a resource person in understanding the filtration system;
- Takes appropriate measures to ensure the safety and health of users;
- Coordinates the inventory control of chlorine and chemicals in the city's pools;
- Ensures proper maintenance of pools and wading pools;
- Ensures the proper use of the following products: DPD1, DPD3, Phenol, and test tubes;
- Communicates with the liquid chlorine supplier to coordinate deliveries;
- Maintains contact with GDI supervisors regarding filtration and/or chlorination issues;
- Ensures administrative follow-up regarding their areas of activity;
- Ensures that various reports are completed;
- Submits a report to their immediate supervisor regarding any anomalies observed.

The ideal profile for us
- Have two (2) years of experience as an assistant manager in outdoor pools
- Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a car

- Monday: 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Tuesday: Off

- Friday: 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM
