Job Overview
Petro-Canada is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Gas Station Attendant (GSA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, maintain store cleanliness, and assist with daily station operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process fuel, retail, and lottery purchases accurately using the POS system
- Replenish shelves, coolers, and merchandise displays
- Maintain cleanliness of the store, pumps, washrooms, and surrounding property
- Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers as needed
- Follow all company safety, security, and cash-handling procedures
- Receive and stock inventory deliveries
- Promote loyalty programs and store promotions
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns professionally
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Must be reliable, punctual, and customer-oriented
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions when required
