Prepare detailed cost estimates for restoration and construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and contract documents to develop accurate project estimates.
Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate project requirements and existing conditions.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams throughout project execution.
Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and overall project performance.
Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to contract requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations.
Prepare and manage change orders, cost adjustments, and project documentation.
Coordinate trades and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
Provide regular project updates, reports, and status communications to stakeholders.
Identify potential project risks and implement solutions to maintain timelines and budgets.
Proven experience in construction estimating and project management.
Experience with building restoration, exterior envelope repairs, structural repairs, or general contracting projects is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety regulations.
Ability to prepare accurate estimates and manage project budgets effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients, consultants, trades, and internal teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficiency with estimating software, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.
Construction management, engineering, or related education is an asset, or equivalent industry experience.
