We are currently looking for a Night Shift Quality Control Technician
QC TECHNICIAN:
Report to the QC Supervisor:
Understanding the production process to optimize food safety and quality control performance.
- Verifying process/quality checks every hour at each stage of production, which has been performing by process operators/Lead Hands.
- Conducting hourly quality and control point measurements to ensure consistency of product quality, and reducing waste.
- Training new employees on GMP
- Identifying issues with production when necessary.
- Monitoring facility activity to ensure compliance with GMP requirements.
- Verifying production records during the shift, maintaining document control, and ensuring effective follow-up on deviations and corrective actions.
- Maintaining documentation, policies, procedures, and records as required.
- Investigating consumer/customer complaints and facilitating root cause analysis.
- Supporting R&D initiatives, monitoring new product launches, and engaging in product improvement/technical services activities.
- Ensuring 100% completion of food safety training.
- Identifying areas for improvement based on self-inspection and audit findings, and following up to ensure gaps are addressed.
- Follow GMP policy at all times
- Alternate QC technician is responsible to cover QC technician’s responsibilities during their absence.
Night Shift: 11:00pm – 7:00am
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Etobicoke, ON M8Z 5L6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
