Warehouse Storage Labourer
Location: Brampton, ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $18.00/hour
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Storage Labourer to join our installation team in Brampton, Ontario. This role involves assisting with the installation of industrial warehouse storage systems, pallet racking, and warehouse safety equipment.
- Load and unload heavy steel pallet racking components, mesh modular fencing, and safety hardware from delivery trucks and shipping containers.
- Move and stage materials throughout large warehouse facilities to support installation crews.
- Organize hardware including nuts, heavy-duty bolts, safety clips, and floor anchors to ensure efficient installation.
- Assemble steel warehouse storage systems including upright frames, horizontal load beams, and row spacers using hand and power tools.
- Assist with site layout by holding measuring tapes, marking chalk lines, and setting up laser levels to ensure accurate rack alignment.
- Operate pallet jacks, wheelbarrows, and other material handling equipment.
- Operate scissor lifts or drive cube vans if properly licensed and trained.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by removing debris, packaging materials, and steel scraps.
- Install temporary safety barriers, guardrails, and caution tape to secure active work zones.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
- Previous experience in warehouse storage installation, pallet racking, construction labour, or material handling.
- Experience using hand and power tools, including impact drivers, socket sets, and drills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in active warehouse and construction environments.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety.
- Forklift, scissor lift, or G-class driver's licence is considered an asset.
- Competitive starting wage of $18.00 per hour.
