We are seeking motivated and reliable Security Guards (FT/Casual) to support a variety of operational environments, including correctional facilities, campuses, hospitals, and general client sites. These roles range from casual on‑call positions to full‑time assignments and leadership opportunities.

About the Role
Security Guards with Commissionaires provide frontline safety and support across diverse environments. Depending on assignment, responsibilities may include:
- Escorting contractors within secure facilities and ensuring compliance with site protocols
- Maintaining a visible security presence and conducting interior/exterior patrols
- Monitoring access points, verifying identification, and controlling entry
- Responding to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a professional manner
- Providing customer service and guest support in public‑facing environments
- Using computers, mobile devices, and radios for communication and reporting
- Leading small teams and coordinating shift activities (Team Lead assignments)
- Supporting overnight operations in healthcare and family‑service environments
All roles require professionalism, situational awareness, and adherence to client policies and procedures.

What You Bring
- Valid Alberta Security License
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle
- Ability to use computers, mobile devices, and communication systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, dependable, and punctual work ethic
- Minimum 1 year of security experience (required for leadership and some site assignments)
- Willingness to obtain additional clearances as required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to conduct regular patrols, indoors and outdoors
- Ability to escort contractors or visitors throughout secure sites
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs when required
- Strong situational awareness and alertness, including during overnight shifts
Working Conditions
Assignments vary by site and may include:
- Secure correctional environments
