Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver products along assigned routes
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, answer inquiries, and address concerns
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities during visits
- Maintain accurate records of sales, deliveries, and inventory levels
- Manage pricing adjustments and ensure proper labeling of products
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies or low stock levels
- Assist with loading and unloading products, including heavy lifting as needed
- Organize daily route schedules for optimal efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations during deliveries
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Effective sales techniques, including upselling and product promotion
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Knowledge of merchandising standards and retail presentation
- Basic math skills for handling pricing, inventory counts, and sales transactions
- Organizational skills to plan routes efficiently and manage time effectively
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks regularly
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
