We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic techniques.
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs and preferences before each session.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment space that adheres to health and safety standards.
- Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress while ensuring confidentiality.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and continuously enhance skills through professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other wellness professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist is required.
- Proficiency in various massage techniques with a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining treatment records.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is preferred but not mandatory.
