Ideal Candidate Requirements:

Valid registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (required)

Must have overnight shift availability
-
Clear Criminal Record Check with a vulnerable sector clearance (required)

Latest tuberculosis screening test (required)

Current CPR certification (required)

Ability to complete basic documentation via smartphone.

Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (an asset)
As a pediatric LPN with Classic LifeCare, your responsibilities may include:
-
Providing personal care for infants and children
-
Assisting with enteral tube feeding
-
Performing oral, nasal, or deep suctioning
-
Monitoring and managing seizures
-
Administering medications
-
Conducting catheterizations and catheter care
-
Supporting diabetes management
-
Monitoring and managing respiratory conditions
-
Providing tracheostomy care (training provided)
-
School assignments in the morning for back-to-school, community and home care may be involved
