We are seeking a motivated and experienced Automotive Assistant Manager to join our dynamic dealership team. Responsibilities
- Assist the Service Manager in overseeing daily dealership operations, including service department activities and staff management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining repair options, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Support sales initiatives through upselling additional services and products to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and quality automotive repairs, leveraging mechanic knowledge to facilitate efficient workflows.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper documentation of sales and services.
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Train and mentor team members to uphold dealership standards for customer service and technical excellence.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Experience
- Previous dealership experience is highly preferred, with a solid understanding of automotive sales and service processes.
- Mechanic experience or mechanical knowledge is essential for effectively supporting repair operations and communicating technical information.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and address their needs professionally.
- Experience in sales, including upselling techniques, to increase revenue streams within the dealership.
