Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and laundry areas within our hotel. Your contribution will ensure that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment during their stay.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens, towels, and other hotel textiles according to established procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Replenish supplies in guest rooms and common areas as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in laundry facilities, ensuring all equipment is used safely and effectively.
- Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks to provide a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel setting, is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow cleaning protocols effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
