What You'll Be Doing
- Operate and monitor crushing and screening equipment to ensure consistent production targets are met
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance to keep equipment running safely and efficiently
- Adjust crusher settings and feed rates to optimize material quality and throughput
- Identify and report mechanical issues or hazards promptly to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site
What Are We Looking For
- Strong ability to safely and effectively operate heavy equipment in a production environment, supported by solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Committed to safety procedures, with the ability to recognize, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards
- Dependable team player with clear communication skills and a proactive, solution focused approach to work
- Capable of managing workload, adapting to changing priorities, and maintaining focus in a fast paced environment
- Valid Class 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
