We are a fast-growing trucking company looking for a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers and play a critical role in ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly and professionally responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, order information, and other relevant data in our CRM system.
- Coordinate with other internal departments, such as dispatch and operations, to ensure smooth delivery of services to customers.
- Provide shipment tracking information and updates to customers as needed.
- Process orders, quotes, and other customer requests accurately and efficiently.
- Provide pricing information and assist customers in selecting appropriate services.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about our company's services, policies, and procedures.
- This position is scheduled for daytime shift, Monday to Friday.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and professionalism.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other office tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Knowledge of trucking industry regulations and procedures is a plus.
