Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting daily administrative operations, ensuring smooth office workflows, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, familiarity with office management software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Organize and file documents both electronically and physically to ensure easy retrieval
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks and basic financial record keeping
- Support administrative functions such as proofreading correspondence, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars
- Provide customer support by responding to inquiries and assisting clients or patients as needed
- Handle clerical tasks including filing, copying, scanning, and managing office supplies
- Support medical or dental office operations by managing patient records and coordinating appointment schedules if applicable
Requirements
- Proven experience in an office environment with clerical or administrative duties
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Experience with data entry, filing systems, and document proofreading
- Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work efficiently at a front desk or reception area using multi-line phone systems
- Prior experience in medical or dental offices is preferred but not mandatory; familiarity with medical office procedures is a plus
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to adapt quickly to new software or procedures as needed
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
