Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for maintaining clean and safe environments in various commercial settings. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
- Ensure trash is emptied and recycling is properly sorted
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleanliness standards and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to lift light to moderate loads and stand for extended periods during shifts
