Title: Forklift Operators (Mandarin Speakers)

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Warehouse Worker / Forklift Driver to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience operating counterbalance and other forklifts along with hands-on warehouse general labour experience. This role involves material handling, shipping/receiving, order picking, inventory support, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
Forklift Duties
- Operate counterbalance and forklifts and other forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Move products and pallets throughout the warehouse and staging areas.
- Handle various load types, including fragile and unevenly distributed materials.
- Navigate tight warehouse spaces, narrow aisles, and confined areas safely.
- Perform accurate pallet placement and stacking procedures.
- Complete daily pre-shift forklift inspections and report mechanical concerns.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and warehouse protocols.
Warehouse General Labour Duties
- Perform order picking, packing, labeling, and palletizing.
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations.
- Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Manually lift, move, and stack materials as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock verification.
- Support production and warehouse teams to meet daily operational goals.
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of forklift driving experience.
- Strong experience operating forklifts
- Previous warehouse and general labour experience required.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and load capacity management.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Pay: $19.00 per hour
