We are currently hiring for Day Shift Position with a consistent, work-life-friendly schedule:
8 Hour Shift - Monday to Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Based at our facility in Rosenort, MB (just 35 minutes south of Winnipeg)
The K.A. Group is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of earthmoving scrapers and accessories for the construction, mining, and agricultural industries. The Group is composed of three brands, namely K-Tec, Ashland, and Metalcraft, with the brands’ products being differentiated by size, target markets, and the technologies offered. Headquartered in Rosenort, Manitoba, just 35 min south of Winnipeg, K.A. Group also maintains a manufacturing warehouse facility in Wisconsin.
The role involves overseeing the receipt of goods and materials into the company, ensuring all incoming shipments are accurately documented, inspected for damage, and stored appropriately. The individual collaborates with various departments to ensure timely inventory management while maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the receiving area. Additionally, the role includes coordinating and supervising the shipping process, ensuring products are properly packaged, labeled, and dispatched efficiently. This position is critical for maintaining accurate shipping records and ensuring goods reach their destinations safely and on time. The individual will work closely with inventory, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations. This is a dual-responsibility role, with training provided for both aspects.

Unload and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or shipping documents.

Inspect goods for quality and damage, documenting discrepancies.

Record received items in the inventory management system.

Label, categorize, and store items in designated areas to optimize space and accessibility.

Update inventory records and notify supervisors of stock levels or discrepancies.

Maintain accurate documentation, including receipts, packing slips, and invoices.

Report issues like damaged goods or discrepancies to relevant departments.

Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and shipping teams to ensure a smooth flow of materials.

Facilitate the movement of goods for further processing or distribution.

Keep receiving and shipping areas clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency.

Adhere to all safety protocols when handling goods or operating equipment.

Investigate and resolve issues related to missing, damaged, or delayed goods.

Verify shipping orders, ensuring items are picked, packed, and labeled correctly.

Use secure packaging to prevent damage during transit.

Maintain accurate shipment records, including tracking numbers, dates, and statuses.

Provide regular shipping reports, analyzing metrics like costs and delays.

Assist with light assembly work.

Other duties as assigned.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to lift heavy packages and handle shipping equipment (such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) safely.

High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus).

Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role preferred.

Knowledge of shipping procedures.

Basic understanding of inventory management.

Forklift license is an advantage, but the right candidate could be trained if necessary.

Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving environment is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.

Basic knowledge of inventory management systems or willingness to learn.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The final compensation range may vary above or below the posted band based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and overall alignment with the role requirements.
