We are looking for a BC Interior Log Scaler interested in seasonal work and who will be responsible for scaling logs in a fast paced, high volume environment.
This position is located at Pacific Inland Resources within the town of Smithers BC
If you already have an existing BC Interior Log Scaling Licence is an asset but not a starting requirement.
Job duties:
-Record and Evaluate Log Quality
-Measure Logs and determine Grades
-Obtain and Enter Accurate Data
-Use Ministry Approved Software
-Contribute to a Team Environment
-Focused on Safety, Quality, And Production
-An aptitude with numbers with attention to detail
-Excellent verbal and written communications
-Willingness to work in all weather conditions in outdoor envrioment
-A valid B.C. driver’s licence
*Wages will be determined based on experience. Wages starting from $30-$35/hr.
