Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our food service, ensuring that both food preparation and cleanliness standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing excellent service in a restaurant or hotel setting.
Duties
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Help maintain inventory levels by reporting shortages or needed supplies to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and presentation.
- Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas regularly to uphold hygiene standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen safety protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others in the kitchen team.
