We are currently expanding our team and looking for a highly skilled and dedicated 310T Qualified Mechanic to join us in Barwick, Ontario. Position Overview: As a 310T Qualified Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on various types of vehicles, including heavy-duty trucks and buses. You will ensure that all vehicles are in optimal working condition, helping to maintain the safety and efficiency of our fleet and customer vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, buses, and other large vehicles,
including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical components.
- Conduct routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks, and fluid
maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and work completed.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed according to industry standards and
company procedures.
- Work with team members to ensure vehicles are serviced in a timely manner, minimizing
downtime.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid 310T (Truck and Coach Technician) certification.
- Proven experience in repairing and maintaining heavy-duty trucks, buses, or other large
vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems specific to heavy-duty vehicles.
- Valid driver’s license (required for test driving and moving vehicles as needed).
- Clean driving record check (Abstract)
- Able to provide a clean Criminal Background Check
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to maintain high level of attention to detail while completing repetitive tasks
