Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Automotive Technician or a dedicated 3rd-year apprentice to join our automotive service team. Duties
- Diagnose and repair a variety of automotive issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Conduct complex repairs including engine diagnostics, transmission work, and electrical system troubleshooting
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete repairs
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting and working in confined spaces
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to customers
- Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Valid Automotive certification or equivalent license required; 3rd-year apprentice status considered
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance
- Proficiency with schematics, diagnostic tools, and various hand and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques is desirable
- Commitment to safety standards and continuous learning in automotive technology
