Job Description
As a Copy Supervisor, you oversee the copywriting team's execution of healthcare marketing projects, setting messaging direction and quality standards for our clients in oncology. You mentor copywriters, conduct copy reviews, and ensure regulatory compliance across all written work. You collaborate with creative direction and strategy to develop strong messaging frameworks that guide team execution.
What You'll Do

Oversee copywriting team execution of healthcare marketing projects, setting messaging direction and maintaining quality standards

Mentor copywriters, provide copy feedback and direction, and ensure all work meets brand voice and regulatory compliance requirements

Develop messaging frameworks and copy guidelines that provide clear direction for team execution across campaigns

Conduct copy reviews and quality assurance, ensuring healthcare claims are substantiated and messaging is compliant

Collaborate with creative direction and strategy to establish messaging strategy that guides team development of campaign copy
Qualifications
Requirements:

5+ years of copywriting experience in advertising, marketing, or creative agencies, with demonstrated supervisory or leadership responsibility

Ability to develop messaging strategies and copy guidelines; strong understanding of brand voice and healthcare compliance requirements

Demonstrated ability to mentor copywriters, conduct copy reviews, and maintain quality and compliance standards

Solid understanding of the MLR/PRC review process and experience adapting copy for regulated healthcare environments, including ISI management, fair balance, and claims substantiation workflows

Collaborative working style with experience briefing writers, partnering with art directors, and contributing to integrated creative ideation alongside strategy and medical teams
Desired:

Industry recognition or awards; published thought leadership in copywriting or brand strategy

Experience across multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, rare disease, cardiovascular, or neurology

Familiarity with digital production workflows, accessibility standards, and responsive design across healthcare digital channels

Exposure to emerging creative technologies including generative AI tools for ideation, asset production, and concepting

Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done

This posting is for a new position at Klick.
The base salary range for this position is between CAD $100,000 - $125,000. The final amount offered will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate's work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior work experience.
