Garage Door Helper / Labourer
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Garage Door Helper to join our team. This is an entry-level position—no prior garage door experience is required. You will assist installers with loading, carrying, and setting up garage doors, openers, and tools on job sites. This role is ideal for someone who is physically fit, willing to learn, and able to work as part of a team.
Key Duties
- Assist installers with garage door and opener installations
- Carry, move, and organize materials and tools on job sites
- Help with basic tasks such as measuring, holding parts, and clean-up
- Maintain a safe and tidy work area
- Follow instructions from the lead installer and other team members
- Learn basic skills in garage door installation and general construction support
Qualifications & Requirements
- No experience required—training will be provided
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs)
- Comfortable using basic hand tools (hammer, drill, screwdriver, etc.)
- Punctual, reliable, and willing to learn new skills
- Ability to work safely and follow directions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is an asset
