We are currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable local tutors to work with students to improve their French language skills and abilities in all core subjects through one-on-one In Person (and some online) tutoring. We are searching for tutors to help students in South Calgary and Airdrie for at least 2 hours a week. We are seeking tutors who care about their student's progress and help them gain confidence in their abilities. You will not only be a tutor, you will be a mentor and develop positive relationships with parents and students.

Qualifications:
- 1+ Years University/College (preferred)
- Knowledge of the Alberta curriculum (preferred)
- Must live in Calgary, AB Canada at time of applying
- Fluent in English and French
Requirements:
- Availability: weeknights (4:00 - 9:00pm) and some weekends. You choose your own schedule.
- Must be fluent in English and have and excellent French communication skills.
- Must complete criminal background check/vulnerability screening
- Familiar with the Alberta CBE curriculum

Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging online French language tutoring sessions for students of various ages, ensuring a supportive learning environment.
- Develop personalized lesson plans that cater to individual student needs and learning styles.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance language skills.
- Utilize effective communication skills in both English and Spanish to facilitate understanding.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student achievements and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on educational resources and methodologies to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
