Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Oversee and review personal and corporate income tax returns, Notice to Reader financial statements, and other routine tax filings.
- Manage relationships between our clients and our team.
- Manage workflow internally as well as with the tax team by providing them with daily guidance, coaching, and development of their tax knowledge.
- Work directly with Partners to complete tax research, reorganizations, and ad-hoc consulting engagements as required.
- Responsible for identifying and resolving engagement issues.
A successful candidate will have:
- 6+ years of private company public accounting experience.
- Strong corporate and personal taxation knowledge.
- Computer skills including Caseware and ProFile.
- Strong understanding of a client-focused environment including related deadlines and the ability to work to meet those deadlines.
- Sound judgment regarding confidential and sensitive matters.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently, as part of a team, and to effectively manage a team.
- Be adaptable to learning new technologies and processes to help improve efficiency and provide a better user experience for our clients.
Software Skills Required
- Learn new technology that can be used in increasing efficiency on files and providing a better overall user experience for our clients.
- Xero (preferably Certified)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $80,000 – $130,000 per year
