La Noisette Bakery is a growing wholesale bakery known for handcrafted quality, consistency, and innovation. We supply some of the city’s best cafés and food establishments, and our signature products—bagels, breads, and our famous Bagel Bombs—are made with care, precision, and pride.
As we scale up production and expand into new markets, we’re looking for a superstar baker to join our team—someone who shares our passion for artisanal baking, thrives in a high-output environment, and understands the rhythm and rigor of bakery life.
The Role: Artisan Baker (Part-Time)
As part of our production team, you will be responsible for executing large-volume batches of artisan breads, bagels, bagel bombs, and more—while maintaining the handcrafted integrity our customers expect. This is not a beginner or entry-level role: you’ll need to bring both skill and stamina.
What You'll Do
Mix, shape, and bake a variety of baked goods (bagels, sourdoughs, breads, pastries)
Follow recipes and production methods accurately to ensure consistency and quality
Manage high-volume baking schedules with precision and focus
Maintain a clean, food-safe, and organized workstation throughout shifts
Support packaging and prep as needed to help the team meet daily targets
Communicate with the team to troubleshoot, adapt, and get ahead of production needs
Who You Are
Experienced: You’ve worked in a commercial or artisan bakery and understand the
demands of a small team with big output.
Craft-Driven: You care about the dough, the bake, and the finish. You’re committed to
quality over shortcuts.
Independent & Reliable: You can be counted on to show up, take initiative, and
manage your own time without constant oversight.
Team-Oriented: You support your crew, communicate clearly, and jump in where
needed to get the job done.
Efficient: You know how to move with purpose and manage your pace in a fast-moving
kitchen.
Food Safety Aware: You have your Food Handler’s Certification or are willing to obtain
it.
