Senior Finance Contracting Resource
Our client, a leading organization in the construction industry, is seeking a Contract Senior Controller / Director level candidate to join their team immediately. This is a hands-on role supporting senior leadership with critical financial insights. If you are a senior finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and enjoys rolling up your sleeves, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Perform in-depth financial and operational analysis, delivering insights to C-suite leaders including the President
- Analyze large data sets, validate data accuracy, and identify gaps to support business decision-making
- Provide forward-looking and historical analysis to influence strategic direction
- Collaborate closely with the Controller and finance team to support ongoing business needs
- Participate in leadership meetings and effectively communicate financial results and insights
- Take a hands-on approach to problem solving, diving into the details when required
Your strengths include:
- CPA designation is required
- Experience at the Senior Controller, Director, or higher level
- Strong background in construction or project-based industries. Understanding contract claims is an asset
- Advanced Excel and skills, Power BI is an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders
- A hands-on, “roll up your sleeves” mindset
- Ability to start immediately
