About the Opportunity
Homestar Inc. is looking for a skilled, experienced Hardscape & Landscape Installer to join our team. This is a technical role for a landscaping professional who specializes in structural installations.
The ideal candidate must be fully proficient in building retaining walls, laying interlock pavers, and constructing walkways. The ability to read site layouts, utilize laser levels, and accurately set grades is strictly required.
Location: Quispamsis, New Brunswick
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
What You’ll Do:
- Independently set up and interpret rotary laser levels to establish accurate grades, slopes, and sub-base depths.
- Lay out and install concrete/stone pavers, walkways, patios, and structural retaining walls according to design specifications.
- Calculate and execute correct excavation depths, aggregate base laying, and compaction to prevent settling.
- Safely operate masonry saws, plate compactors, transit levels, and other specialized hardscaping equipment.
- Maintain clean lines, square corners, and perfectly level installations that meet Homestar’s durability standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of professional hardscape & landscape experience is required
- Proven hands-on experience in hardscape landscaping, masonry, or civil concrete work.
- Grade Setting Mastery: Demonstrated ability to use lasers and accurately set grade independently (Required).
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (50+ lbs), continuous bending, and operate heavy machinery/tools outdoors in variable weather.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, strong math/measurement skills, and a safety-focused mindset.
