The Role
We are seeking an accomplished
Senior SaaS Platform Architect to shape the future of our cloud-based platform. You will play a pivotal role in designing and guiding the development of scalable, resilient, and secure software systems that power our AI-driven translation solutions. As a senior architect, you will work closely with product leaders, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to ensure that technical decisions align with the company’s strategic vision and deliver lasting value.
This role requires a rare mix of deep technical expertise, architectural vision, and the ability to influence and mentor teams across the organization.
Key Responsibilities-
Architect Scalable Platforms – Design and evolve SaaS and cloud solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

Advance the Architecture Roadmap – Partner with engineering, GenAI, and DevOps teams to define and evolve the long-term technical architecture of Apertera's SaaS offerings.

Documentation & Standards – Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, integration diagrams, and technical guidelines; ensure accessibility and currency of all documentation.

Innovation & Prototyping – Challenge the status quo by exploring new technologies, creating proofs of concept, and rapidly prototyping solutions to meet emerging business needs.

Technical Leadership – Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering teams, raising code quality, design maturity, and product performance.

Full Lifecycle Architecture – Design solutions for new features while ensuring maintainability of existing code bases, with a focus on best practices and long-term sustainability.

Agile Collaboration – Work closely with Scrum teams and product owners to translate architectural direction into actionable development plans.

Cross-Functional Communication – Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, articulating architectural decisions in clear, business-relevant terms.
Qualifications-
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science (or related field).

10+ years of software development experience building web-based products at scale.
-
5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, AI Model Infra, and deployment, ideally on AWS.

Strong expertise in Python and front-end frameworks such as React.

Proven track record of architecting complex SaaS platforms with an emphasis on scalability, reliability, and security.

Experience and knowledge of SaaS compliance standards, including SOC2, GDPR, and ISO270001

Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor teams and influence stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; able to balance strategic vision with pragmatic execution.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

Fluency in English (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues across regions.
Nice to Have-
Experience in the translation, localization, or language technology industry.

Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: Prompt tuning, RAG frameworks, Embedding models, LLM APIs, Vector database

Familiarity with compliance and security requirements in legal/financial SaaS environments.
