Nova Scotia Rooftech is seeking a qualified Red Seal Construction Electrician to join our growing team. This role focuses on electrical upgrades and solar electrical installations. Key Responsibilities
Perform residential and commercial electrical upgrades
Complete solar electrical installations (inverter connections, panel tie-ins, system commissioning)
Ensure all work meets Canadian Electrical Code and provincial standards
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently
Maintain clear documentation of work completed
Communicate professionally with clients and team members
Requirements
Red Seal Construction Electrician Certification (required)
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (required)
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety practices
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Experience with solar installations is an asset (training may be provided)
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Wage: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on experience)
Mileage Reimbursement: $0.52/km
Benefits Package: Available after 3-month probation period
Full-time, stable employment with growth potential
Work Conditions
Primary work location: On the road (various job sites across Nova Scotia)
Travel required; mileage compensated
