Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable <PERSON> to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of construction, including blueprint reading, concrete forming, restoration, siding, and carpentry. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require hands-on expertise with both hand and power tools, heavy equipment operation, and woodworking. The position is essential for ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and safety standards across all projects.
Duties
- Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute project requirements accurately.
- Construct, install, and repair structures using concrete forming techniques, siding, framing, and carpentry skills.
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely to assist with large-scale construction tasks.
- Use hand tools and power tools proficiently for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials such as wood, concrete, and metal.
- Perform concrete finishing tasks including pouring, smoothing, and curing concrete surfaces.
- Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures or surfaces.
- Weld metal components as needed to ensure structural integrity.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with a focus on carpentry, concrete forming, or restoration work.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment and power tools required for various construction tasks.
- Knowledge of siding installation and woodworking techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during demanding projects.
- Prior experience working with heavy machinery or in specialized areas such as concrete finishing or welding is a plus.

Pay: $21.45-$40.94 per hour
