Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of food service operations, including serving, food preparation, and cooking. This role requires a strong commitment to food safety and excellent customer service skills. As a senior team member, you will lead by example, mentor junior staff, and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our food industry environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead food preparation and meal assembly to meet quality standards and customer expectations
- Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Serve customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
- Assist in kitchen operations, including cooking and plating dishes
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Train and mentor junior staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards
- Manage inventory levels for ingredients and supplies to prevent shortages or waste
- Collaborate with management to improve operational workflows and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or the food industry with a focus on meal preparation and food safety
- Strong background in serving, cooking, and food handling techniques
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures
- Previous restaurant experience preferred; leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills and a professional attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; prior experience in a senior or supervisory role is advantageous
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
