Kelowna Chevrolet has an opportunity available for a full-time Tower Operator. Our busy dealership requires an enthusiastic, energetic, and driven individual to serve our customers.
This person contributes to the overall effectiveness of the service department, by ensuring all vehicles are put through the shop in a timely and efficient matter. Ensuring we hit promise times to meet or exceed our customers expectations.
A suitable candidate should possess the following attributes:
- Strong organizational skills and detail orientated
- Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Naturally a problem solver
- Individual drive, and desire to obtain new skills
- Work well in a team atmosphere
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- Previous automotive dealership experience is an asset
- Basic knowledge of or ability to understand the mechanics of a vehicle
- Computer Skills - MS Office, Excel, Google Docs, CDK
The tasks you will be responsible for:
- Prioritize and dispatch work for the shop
- Maintain shop capacity, efficiency and productivity
- Monitor shop flow, be aware of jobs that are taking additional time, able to be aware of what is booked in
- Assist in closing Warranty Repair Orders
- Assist in closing Internal/Customer Repair orders when required.
- Ensure internal used cars and new vehicles are put through the shop in a timely manner
- Assist with payroll and other duties
