Job Summary
North Peak Academy is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Science Tutor to support high school students in achieving academic success in Science.
At North Peak Academy, the Science Tutor plays a key role in delivering high-quality, student-centered learning experiences that drive measurable academic improvement.
Duties
- Support skill development in high school science courses
- Deliver one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Assist students with homework, assignments, and exam preparation
- Track and maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve performance and confidence
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required, should be relevant to Science or Engineering
- Strong academic background in, science, or engineering (GPA verified)
- Proven teaching ability with prior tutoring experience
- Classroom teaching experience is an asset
- Teaching awards or recognitions are considered an asset
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector dated within the last six months

Preferred Spruce Grove, Leduc, Sherwood Park and Edmonton Northside, Southeast and Southwest areas of Edmonton,
Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
