We are a Canadian manufacturer of advanced Flight Simulation Training Devices, and we are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Assembly Team Lead to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, solving problems, staying organized, and working alongside a team. You do not need aerospace experience — we will train the right person.
About the Role
You will become the go-to person for our mechanical assembly department, helping support the team, organize work, maintain quality standards, and keep projects moving smoothly.
This is a hands-on leadership position in a low-volume, high-quality manufacturing environment. We build approximately two flight training devices per month, along with smaller custom projects.
Responsibilities
✔ Lead and support the mechanical assembly team day-to-day
✔ Work hands-on with the team when needed
✔ Help organize workflow and priorities
✔ Maintain quality and documentation standards
✔ Troubleshoot mechanical assembly issues
✔ Coordinate with electrical and engineering teams
✔ Help maintain a positive, team-focused work environment
What We’re Looking For
✔ Experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or similar environments
✔ Leadership or supervisory experience (formal or informal)
✔ Strong communication and people skills
✔ Comfortable leading by example and rolling up your sleeves
✔ Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
Experience with custom equipment, machinery, automation, fabrication, or engineered products is considered an asset.
